first we will take LCM of all denominators and then multiply LCM with all fractions to make it natural number so that it is easy to compair then.

-4/-9 = 4/9 (-ve no. divided by -ve no. gives result +ve)

LCM of 3,7,9,4 = 252

multiplying 252 with all fractions -

(252×2)/3, (252×5)/7, (252×4)/9, (252×1)/4

=> 168, 180, 112, 63

ascending order :-

180>168>112>63

ANS=> 5/7 > 2/3 > -4/-9 > 1/4

descending order :-

63<112<168<180

ANS=> 1/4 < -4/-9 < 2/3 < 5/7
