 \frac{5}{8} < \frac{5}{6} \\ \\ 5 \times 6 < 5 \times 8 \\ \\ 30 < 40

 \frac{5}{6} > \frac{1}{2} \\ \\ 5 \times 2 > 6 \times 1 \\ \\ 10 > 6

 \frac{5}{8} > \frac{1}{2} \\ \\5 \times 2 > 1 \times 8 \\ \\ 10 > 8

 \frac{1}{2} < \frac{5}{8} < \frac{5}{6}

5/8 has value of 0.625 whereas 5/6 has value of 0.83333, 1/2 has value of 0.5
(or else).
find L.C.M. of denomiators 8,6,2
2 |8,6,2
2 |4,3,1
3 |2,3,1
2 |2,1,1
|1,1,1 so least common multiple of 8,6,2 is 2×2×3×2= 24. So in 5/8 multiply numerator and denominator by 3 ,we get 15/24 .In 5/6 multiply numerator and denominator by 4 we get 20/24.
In 1/2 multiply numerator and denominator by 12 ,we get 12/24 . Now fractions are 15/24,20/24,12/24. ascending order is
=> 12\24< 15\24 < 20\24 => 1\2 < 5\8 <5\6 . therefore I hope it helps you......
