CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER

Let us first understand what a chronological order is.

Things arranged as they happened in time or following one after the another in the time is known as chronological order. Things which happened first will appear first in the order and so on.

To arrange the given events in chronological order, we need to look upon the time at which they occured.

• Manchu Empire was overthrown in 1912. It was a Chinese revolution which lasted from 10 October 1911 - 12 February 1912. It is also known as Xinhai Revolution. This revolution led to the fall of Qing Dynasty and establishment of the Republic of China.

• Peking University was established in 1898. It was also known as Imperial University of Peking in the past. It is a public type university. It is located in Haidian District, Beijing, China. It is the member of C9 League.

• May 4th movement took place in 1919. This movement was students protest against the government regarding the decision on Treaty of Versailles. It is also known as New Culture Movement. Due to the pressure of the protest, Chinese government then refused to sign the Treaty.

• Long March In China ended in 1935. It lasted from 16 October 1934 - 22 October 1935. The march was from Jiangxi to Shaanxi, China.
