Sulphur came in group 16 in horizontal row with phosphorus.we know that in going horizontal front then atomic size of element decreases.The element above the phosphorus has low atomic size which is nitrogen in comparison to sulphur.Atomic mass of sulphur is 100ppm,phosphorous is 195 ppm and nitrogen is 65ppm.
