Answer is 4 methoxy phenol

Decreasing order of more the electronegativity more will be with more acidic strength

Explanation:Order is as follows

(d)>(c)>(b)>(a)

  • Here methoxy group is electron-withdrawing groups which effect  more than nitro group,
  • Therefore d) is more acidic than (c)
  • In phenols, the electron releasing group decrease the acidity but the presence of electron- withdrawing group will increase acidity due to the presence of  the methyl group it is more acid than chloro group
  • so (b) is greater than (a)
  • the correct order of acidic character is  (d)>(c)>(b)>(a)
