Here we have,

7/10, 5/-8 and 2/-4.

These can be written as,

7/10   -5/8   -2/4.

Now 7/10 is positive and others are negative. So 7/10 is definitely the largest and will come first.

Now come to -5/8 and -2/4. Take the LCM of denominators, that is, 8.

Thus we will now have -5/8 and -4/8. Now dont get confused: when we have negative, then the larger one is smaller because, it is negative. So, here -4/8 will be larger than -5/8.

Thus we have finally,

7/10 > -2/4 > -5/8.

Hope it helps.
