Method 1

For that, we make them like

LCM = 28

(-3/7) × 4 = -12/28

(-3/2) × 14 = -42/28

(3/4) × 7 = 21/28

-42/28 < -12/28 < 21/28

The ascending order would be :

-3/2 < -3/7 < 3/4

Method 2

Since all the rational numbers have same numerator, we can directly write it.

In negative rationals, the smaller the denominator is the smaller the number. So-

-3/2< -3/7

and positive rationals are greater than negative. They follow the rule that smaller the denominator, the greater the number.

so 3/4 is greatest

Thus, the answer is=

-3/2 < -3/7 < 3/4
