Answer:

Given,

Fractions are = 1/2 , 2/3 , 3/4 , 2/7 , 1/8

As the denominators of all are different

Firstly we will make their denominators equal

For this we will have find their L.C.M

So, L.C.M of 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 is 168

Now,

=> 1/2 = (1×84) / (2×84) = 84/168

=> 2/3 = (2×56) / (3×56) = 112/168

=> 3/4 = (3×42) / (4×42) = 126/168

=> 2/7 = (2×24) / (7×24) = 48/168

=> 1/8 = (1×21) / (8×21) = 21/168

Now arrange them in descending order

21/168 < 48/168 < 84/168 < 112/168 < 126/168

1/8 < 2/7 < 1/2 < 2/3 < 3/4

Hope it will help you
