Arrange the fractions in ascending order: 1/3, 2/5, 5/6, 1/15
Answers
Answer :
Given Fractions :
Now we need to arrange ascending order so we need to find L.C.M
L. C. M of 3,5,6,15 =30
We can clearly understand L. C. M = 30
Now we will use the given fractions and we will put L. C. M as denominators
Substituting,
So we got the fractions
Which are,
Now using the fractions we got we will arrange ascending order,
So ascending order will be,
So, the ascending order will be,
❈ In order to arrange these fractions we take the L.C.M of the denominators then we arrange it. Lets do it!
Given Fractions :-
Solving :-
Step 1: Finding the L.C.M of denominators.
L.C.M of 3, 5, 6, 15 = 30
(Note :- Refer to the attachment for the L.C.M)
step 2 : Multiply such a number so that denominator's number would come 30. The number by which the denominator would come 30, same number you've to multiply In numerator also.
Step 3 : Now arrange in ascending order.
Arranging of ascending order with thier original fractions :-

Keep in mind !
- If you're given a question in which fraction would be same and the question will say to arrange it into ascending or descending order then arrange as it is, no need to take LCM in that case! But if you're given Fractions which would have different denominators then you have to take LCM of the denominators in that case. By taking lcm denominator would be same and it would be so easy to arrange in ascending or descending.
