General method to arrange from smallest to largest rational numbers (increasing):

Step 1: Express the given rational numbers with positive denominator.

Step 2: Take the least common multiple (L.C.M.) of these positive denominator.

Step 3: Express each rational number (obtained in step 1) with this least common multiple (LCM) as the common denominator.

Step 4: The number having the smaller numerator is smaller.

So, according to the above steps,

the ascending order is,

2/5,1/2,3/5,3/4

Hope this will help

Fraction of two numbers:

In mathematics, the fraction contains two numbers. Where the top number is the numerator and the bottom number is the denominator. The numerator shows the number of parts and the denominator shows the whole parts.

Example:  \frac{3}{5} where 3 is the numerator and 5 is the denominator.

Given: 2/5,3/4,1/2,3/5

Determine the values of the fractions, 2/5=0.4,3/4=0.75,1/2=0.5,3/5=0.6

Based on the fraction values arrange the values in ascending order

0.4,0.5,0.6,0.75 where the fractions are 2/5,1/2,3/5,3/4

Therefore, the fractions in ascending order are  2/5,1/2,3/5,3/4
