Those of the western state includes the Gujarat, Rajasthan, and daman and diu while those of the eastern include the Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur and Meghalaya, West Bengal, Orissa, and Jharkhand.

Here is how we can represent the states in India from east to west, which only have the land boundary:

Gujarat, Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya.

Gujarat here falls in the west region of India, while Maharashtra is centrally located between the east and the west. Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya belong to the North-eastern region and are counted among the seven sisters of India. All of these states comprise of land boundary only.
