Arrangement of electric cell in the electrical circuit affects the amount of current flowing through the circuit. Explain why.

This is because the potential differences across the various ends of the circuit..
Depends on the orientation of the electrical cells or batteries.. Present in the circuit..
Suppose two batteries have their orientation Similar like .. case 1
then they tend to flow current in opposite directions..
therefore the net current flows in the direction of the positive end of the battery having greater emf.. V2 in case 1
Now, if the two batteries have different orientation.. kinda like case 2
then the two batteries act like a single combined battery..
Because their effects add up..
Due to similar reasons..
So in this way arrangement of batteries affects the amount of current..
This is just a basic example..
There are also classical cases like whether
the batteries are in series or parallel combination..
