Answer:

A significant aspect of any student's knowledge and experience gain in college is their involvement in different projects. Keeping this in mind, SMIT always strives to provide various provisions for project exposure in college. Here are some of them:

• Organization of Tech Adrishta, Smit's very own Technical Fest. Students are encouraged to participate and showcase their projects. Talent pours in from within and also from outside the college. The best projects are crowned winners and the members are given certificates, medals and even cash prizes.

• The HOD and the professors provide constant support to the students to be engaged in different projects.

• The students can also voluntarily go to any professor and seek their guidance on the matter. Not only do they help the students in projects that they choose, but also assist them in writing research papers on completion of the project. The college even bears the expense involved in registration of the paper in any conference.

• Moreover if a student chooses to register for online learning sites such as Coursera and do a project of their choice, they can do so by registering through college. This way they can avail the same courses for significantly lesser prices.

• Students can also get in touch with members of D'Coders, the Coding Club of SMIT for any sort of assistance related to projects.

Lastly, I highly suggest you engage yourself in projects throughout your journey in SMIT because without doubt, it will be the most probable and focused topic during your placement interviews. And if you're more inclined towards further studies, what better way to gain more knowledge and hands-on experience than to take part in projects?
