Arteries are the blood vessels which originate from the heart and supply blood to various organs in the body they have thick walls. The largest artery is aorta. The relatively smaller one is Pulmonary artery which carries blood from the heart to the lungs. The veins are the blood vessels which brings blood from all body parts of the heart. Veines have relatively thinner walls. The heart is superior vena cava (percaval veni), which collects blood from anterior parts (head and nevk) of the body ​
