We all know that tourism in India is one Of India's distinct features. But, do we know that countries like Thailand, Singapore, Switzerland, Britain and USA have more tourism than India does. So, this arises a question that why is India learning behind in the terms of tourism? There can be many answers for this question, but first let's talk about what India is lacking. So many things that India is that tourists want this can be world class hotels, food cuisines, etcetera. So this also plays an important role in ailing the tourism in India. Keeping these things aside, we also come across many atrocities on tourist. These are cheating, fraud, harrassment, rapes, murders, etcetera. Obviously, these things prevent tourists from coming and visiting India. So there's a lot we can talk about which India needs to improve. To increase it's tourism, India should prevent unnecessary rallies, should check proper maintenance of monuments and one major step to increase tourism can be keeping pollution under control, or we can say ending pollution. Another thing which who is back India from having an increase in tourism, is terrorism. There should be a check on terrorists so that they cannot enter India. Ok now let's come to sanitation. India is one of the countries with the poorest sanitation situation. There are flies, and eventually lead to diseases. Poor transportation and less Civic amenities are also two main reasons which holds back India from having good tourism facilities. So according to my point of view India should work on these reasons and should take initiatives to increase its tourism.
