Explanation:

No revolution has been more dramatic and stronger over the last 25 years, than technology. Is the society’s quality of life better or worse than 25 years ago?

One of my primary concerns when I was younger was how to contact my friends. I used to meet my friends at the week-end and catched up with everyone. It was almost impossible contact them immediately. It took me five days know news from them. With regard to TV scheduling, two channels were available, the first one and the second one. I can remember even than some movies were banned for children.

The first thing that came to mind when I went on holidays to a new place, was a map. I clearly remember looking for the quicker route to reach my destination. Who would have thought it how the GPS systems would change the way we scheduled a travel?

In terms of advances related to the media, since the newspapers are online, you can access any information you need in a short period of time. You don’t need to queue in a library or spend long time commuting from your home to the library. However, one of the most amazing advances has been how the way people connect with each other. Online tools such as Facebook, have redefined the social behaviour. My younger brother works currently for an international company but I can easily see how the life is treating him just watching his personal profile in Facebook. Don't you think is it amazing?

Anyway, it is a well known fact that technology changes, offer you a wider range of possibilities. They indeed provide you a huge positive impact in your life when they are used on regular basics.

I totally believe that the more technological changes we experience, the better for our quality of life.
