It is high-time that we put a stop on reckless driving on our narrow streets of highly populated cities. Many people become its target. Yesterday, I myself witnessed an accident that a speeding truck crushed the couple on a bike to death. Even today, I read a news about a beggar who narrowly escaped by being run over by a speeding bike going 90km/hour. Many woman and children get hurt due to this while crossing the road.
People don't get to think of the consequences they may face if they get into an accident. Teenagers take one-wheeling as an adventure. They may become handicapped for life or die in the most horrible condition with humilated bodies. It is even written on the boards:
Drive slow, someone loves you.
and:
It is better to reach late that to never reach.
People do not follow the safety rules. They refuse to wear seatbelts and helmets. Even the police do not pay much attention to it.
Serious actions should be taken against the Blacksheeps in  the police. surveillance cameras should be installed at all street corners. The rash drivers and the people without helmet/seat belt/ side mirrors should be dealt sternly. The licence of drunk drivers should be cancelled at the spot.
This issue cannot be ignored anymore.
Our traffic system needs a complete re-think
