With the same perspective in view, the Inter- School Debate Competition was held in commemoration of the Birth Anniversary of our founder father, _______.

With the topic chosen for the year being ‘Development and Progress is Catacomb of Human Civilization’, __ speakers from __ schools in various parts of the state vied for honours. Some participants argued for the motion and some against the motion. The teams were well prepared and they used various skills like overstatement, definition, rhetoric, irony etc. to convince the audience. The participants, armed with statistics and data validated and made their arguments more emphatic with right facial expressions, body movements and gestures.

At the end of the heated but interesting debate which lasted over three hours, finally ______School Name ____  was declared the winner, but being the host team, the trophy was presented to the next highest scoring team i.e.

Besides this, all participants were given a certificate of participation.

                       WVM Convent Held Painting Competition

WVM Convent Sr. Sec. School, Defene Colony, New Subhash Chander Nagar, Ludhiana participated in the painting competition organized by Income Tax Department on July 24, 2018. The IT department had invited the school to organize a painting competition for junior and senior school students at the school’s campus. The topics for paintings were ‘Mera Desh’, ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’, and ‘Samridha Bharat’.  

Students enthusiastically took part in the competition and made many wonderful paintings on the given topics. Mr. S.P.Sharma, the President; Mrs. Leena Sharma, esteemed members of the management; Mrs. Radhika Sachdeva, the Director and Mrs. Sunita Kumari, the Principal thanked the Income Tax Department for hosting the creativity enhancing competition at the school campus.
