▶ Question - Article is rupees 500. Nandu sold it to Chandu at 10% profit, Chandu sold it to go to at 10% loss for what price did go to purchase it ?

▶ Explanation :-

Nandu sold the article for a profit of 10%

∴ CP of article for Chandu = 110% of CP of article for Nandu

= 110 × 500 / 100

= Rs. 550

Now, Chandu sold the article to go at a loss of 10%

∴ CP of article for go = 10% of CP of article for Chandu

= 90 × 550 / 100

= Rs. 495

Hence, CP of article for go = Rs. 495
