Climate all around the world has seen drastic changes in recent years the reason? `Global warming’. In other words, the entire earth is getting heated up with the sun’s heat penetrating into the earth’s atmosphere.

The Ozone layer is fast depleting and we cannot escape the harmful Ultraviolet rays of the sun. This change in the atmosphere has caused drastic changes in the natural weather conditions all over the world. Some areas are seeing an increase in rainfall, while those which have been getting little rainfall face the threat of a drought. Some reasons for global warming may be identified.

Industries and household items like refrigerators and air conditioners release harmful gases like Chlorofluro Carbon (CFCs) into the atmosphere and these gases have made a hole in the protective Ozone layer.

And then there is the depletion of forest resources. With deforestation, the earth’s heat has increased, for trees keep it cool.

Increase in temperature and cutting of trees have led to floods. Added to these are the hurricanes and tornadoes which again are the result of climatic changes across the world.

All these contribute to global warming which again is a threat to all living beings on earth.

Answer:

Explanation:

                                  Global warming

Global warming is a part of climate change and is partially caused by increased greenhouse gases from burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, agriculture, and other industrial causes.

The Earth's temperature had already warmed by 1°C compared to pre-industrial levels. This temperature rise may appear small, but small rises in temperature translate into big changes for the world’s climate. This is because the amount of extra energy needed to increase the world’s temperature, even by a little, is vast. This extra energy is like force-feeding the global climate system.

·Hotter days

·Rising sea level

·oceans are warming

Melting glaciers, early snowmelt, and severe droughts will cause more dramatic water shortages and increase the risk of wildfires in the American West.

Rising sea levels will lead to coastal flooding on the Eastern Seaboard, especially in Florida, and in other areas such as the Gulf of Mexico.

Allergies, asthma, and infectious disease outbreaks will become more common due to increased growth of pollen-producing ragweed, higher levels of air pollution, and the spread of conditions favorable to pathogens and mosquitoes.
