Though India is not a part of any major military alliance, it has a close strategic and military relationship with most of the fellow major powers. countries considerd India's closest Includ the Russian Federation, Israel, Afghanistan, France, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and the United States. Relation with Pakistan ,despite historical,cultural and ethnic link between them, relationship between India and Pakistan have been plagued by years of mistrust and suspicion ever since the partition of india in 1947. relationship between India and China :when the communist came to power in china ,India has welcomed the change and was one of the first countries to recognise her .she also advocate China's admission to the UN .In 1954,India's prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru and the Chinese Prime Minister,Chou-en-Lai ,has signed the "Panchsheel" Agreement .U S -India relation:

the US Indian partnership has its foundation in common values, including the Rule of law and democratic principles .The US and India have shared interest in promoting global security ,stability and economic prosperity through trade ,investment and connectivity.
