Television is an entertainment for children and all elderly people. It creates pleasure to our mind while watching a show or film. In addition there are documentaries which help us gain knowledge in our free time. Most children prefer watching cartoons or sport channels. But, beyond this visual interpretation, there are advantages and disadvantages.

        Children who are fond of learning about plants and animals can watch Discovery Channel which is one of the popular channels worldwide. It also creates an entertainment but also gains knowledge. It also increases their love for biology and creates a good ambition for ourselves.

       Some youngsters prefer watching sports. It increases their passion for a particular sport. Playing sports also create pleasure to our mind. Some of the famous sports popularly watched are: basketball, American football, soccer and tennis.  

        While some shows are inappropriate for youngsters which lead to bad impact. Violent movies, some comedy shows etc creates a change in the behavior of the child. This leads to the ultimate decline in the talent of the child.

          Excess time in televisions should be avoided. Encourage youngsters to communicate and engage with people in society. Avoid phone conversation with mates and relatives.
