COURAGE And CONFIDENCE:- DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOU?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (by ᏙαlíαηtᏢяíηcєíss)

Courage is a highly admired virtue that people of all ages, nay all species of all types, are capable of showing in the most trying and difficult situations. A deer mother confronting a tiger to save her young ones, a young child jumping into a canal to save his sibling, an old woman taking on a mafia, a little girl foiling attempts to kidnapher, a soldier confronting the enemy at the risk of his life - all have one thing in common-'COURAGE'!

Most often we associate courage' with physical prowess or bravery but there is another form of valour that is much more important because it comes up more often. It's called moral courage - the willingness to face not only physical

danger but also emotional pain, disapproval, insecurity, or uncertainty rather than compromise on ethical principles which become dearer than all our comforts, possessions, friendships, and even jobs!

Without courage, we have no control over our lives. Our fears corrode our spirit and confine us like a barbed wire fence. That is why they say a coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man but one. Mark Twain said, "Courage is not the absence of fear but the resistance of fear, the

mastery of fear." So, in order to cultivate the value of courage, we need to learn to manage our fears. Once we do that we will form a habit of being courageous all the time.

People with courage may not always get medals, but this virtue is the best marker of true character!

"Do you have it in you!?"
