Coronavirus is spreading all over the whole world. Most of the population is being affected by it. Even the country which is good at hospitality is in the hands of COVID-19. The strongest country is now becoming helpless now. India is also affected by it.

The life before the pandemic-

The people were living together. They didn't discriminate against each other for any reason. They lived like a family and have a bond with each other. Tourism was famous. People love to visit other places and share their culture, traditions, ideas, and many more.

My life before pandemic: I go to school regularly, after school I used to attend extra classes. I used to go to an evening walk and do homework at night. I used to practice sports like running, archery, football with my friends.

The spreading of Pandemic -

I was giving my board exams. Before my last exam SSC, I got to know about the COVID-19 which was spreading very fast in India. I gave my last SSC exam on 18 March 2020. I went home safely. The first lockdown was on 22 March, which was declared by Narendra Modi. I saw the news in the evening. I saw that most of the roads were clear. Most of the people were in their homes. It was a very proud and happy moment for me. It was a step to break the COVID-19 chain. The exams of the 12th were not finished. All the transportation was stopped, schools were closed, shops, offices were closed.

Negative effects-

The social distance among people increased. People now started separating. The daily workers are suffering. We have lost some great persons due to this. The people who used to work in the unorganized sector are under unemployment. The development of the nation has slowed down.

I feel very sad about this.

The online classes are started and most of the students use mobile phones. Some children play games instead of doing homework after the end of the classes.

Positive effects  -

After lockdown, I was shocked to know that the pollution level in New Delhi was decreased, although it was the polluted area. The Ganga river which was the polluted river now, it is clean. Nature got the time to purify itself. The smoke released from vehicles became less. People knew the importance of hand wash.

I learned to stitch masks. The mask was made from cloth(cotton). I stitched 100 masks per day, and also encourage my neighbors to such masks. The total masks used to be 500+ which is enough to supply to a nearby village. I taught 6 steps of hand wash to others. I also got enough time to do paintings. I had done many paintings and crafts. I spend most of the time with my family which was not possible during my busy school life. With the help of my family, I donated some money to give to the poor. After all, it didn't affect my daily routine to do exercise. I used to do exercise at a home with my family members. I learned that it is a good time to help needy people.

What I am looking forward to after the pandemic ends -

Most will be thinking that 'I will go here, I will go there… etc', but I will start awaiting people to have unity following social distancing. I would do as much as service to other people. I will teach small children about the importance of washing hands. I will tell the importance of cleanliness in our life. I will make a group with the help of my friends and help the people who are in trouble.

It taught me 'Patience'. As we have to wait till its ends. We can end it by staying at home. Go out, only, when there is emergency.
