ESSAY :
“Examination”, a word that creates a mix of thoughts which consists fear, uncertainty, relief, expectation etc in our minds. Examination is a thing which we have to give in every stage of our life. It’s like a gate which unlocks the next level of our life. For some people, the examination is like hell, the dome of death. But on the other hand, for some students it’s like a necessity, a spirit, a motivation, a joy. So, it’s can be called that the EXAMINATION is a Necessary Evil. Let’s talk about the necessity first. Examinations are like a mirror which make us see ourselves, how mature we have become, what developments are needed in us. It actually reflects us, our personality, our character. A man can’t shine in his life without giving a single examination. It’s not important if it is related to only educational field. It can be an examination which relates to some different parts of our life. Examinations make us aware of our weakness and make us mentally strong to strengthen those weakness. It’s like a test where we have to prove our existence. And after proving that, we can proudly say to the world, “Yeah! Buddy, I also exist in this world. You are not the only one here.” But like everything, the examination also has a dark side of it. It has been seen that when a person faces the failure, he can’t understand that what the almighty has done to him and before he realizes that he has actually given him an another chance to shine, he begins to blame himself for his failure and we all know what happens after that. But eventually after taking a slight look at the matter people forget it and the role of tragedy continues. If we give a close view to the matter, it can be said that, “GRADE CREATES DIVISION.” We are nationally integrated. But still, we are asked to make friends according to their ‘Roll No’ in schools. We want to shine in life but not giving a foot on the throat of happiness. But, the examination makes us do exactly what we are afraid of. We can’t change everyone’s right. The role of examination should not be avoided. Because, if it’s looked closely, we’ll find the examination returns us all of our efforts but, in instalments. The examination surely makes us stronger but at times it also turns us into pieces. So it is totally justified to say that “THE EXAMINATION IS A NECESSARY EVIL.”
