Nowadays, in almost each and every field of life, girls and boys are given equal chances. But still in some regions, males and females are not treated equally. Boys are treated superior to girls.

In India, most of the parents brought up us to believe that the main responsibility of women is housework and taking care of children. This results in the minimal role of females in politics and other spheres. But today they are gaining control increasingly over their lives.

The term "Women Empowerment" means that women are all free to take their decisions in various spheres of life like social, economical, political and so on.

Women empowerment will be justified in truest sense only when there will be the change in attitude of the society regarding womenfolk, their respect and dignity.
