Answer: If other species of the world disappear then man would not be able to live for long, as we all know men is very much dependent on other species for its living.

Man might live for some time after the extinction of these species but, this period will not run for long. As we all know there is a food chain or cycle in which other species play a very crucial role. And if they are gone from this cycle Extinction of man will be next to impossible.

The word environment is derived from Greek word 'environ' known as 'surrounding'. Thus environment is the surrounding which contributes to the survival of all the animals, plants, living organisms living in that surrounding.

To meet their basic needs of surviving they all must interact with the environment. Plants and animals must coexist to be able to survive and produce future generation. They depend on each other as the plant is a producer i.e., prepare food on its own and the animals and human beings need it. So are the plants depended on both of them.
