                                Paper is relevant in future

There is no denying the fact that internet, computers, and online reading have become exceedingly popular, convenient, and handy; however, the paper will always be relevant in the times to come.

In spite of the boom in the IT world, there is a section of people who prefer to read and write on paper. Similarly, real libraries with thousands and thousands of books will continue to exist; people will continue to carry paperbacks along with them while travelling. The doctors have already cautioned mankind to lessen the use of LED screens, so even from health’s point of view, people will continue to use paper.

In developing countries it is still a long way for the IT revolution to have considerable impact, so paper will continue to be used. The initial cost of creating IT infrastructure and to make people computer literate are very high, till then in the developing countries paper will continue to be relevant.

Even in the most advanced countries where computers, internet, and IT have completely taken over everything, important data is kept safe in written form on paper; even in these advanced countries paper has not become obsolete. Though much of the work is being done on computers and internet, paper still continues to be used.

Considerable amount of official and governmental work is being done using paper. The forecast about paper is it will continue to be relevant in future. Technology will continue to dominate and evolve into better versions, but paper will always remain relevant.

Paper is one of the oldest technologies that we still use today. Before paper, Egyptians used to use Papyrus leaves and clay tablets for writing. After the Chinese invented paper, a new era began. Paper is one of the most trusted, secure, reliable and confidential technology in the world. No computer can match its security and reliability. Once something is written or printed on paper, it remains there for many decades, probably century. No one can access the information on paper in an unauthorised way by hacking. Computers are quite expensive as they require electricity and a bit of maintenance. But papers do not require this at all. Governments and almost all agencies and organisations all over the world use paper extensively. A letter when printed has more value than its soft copy. Signing on paper is much safer than that on a computer. Printed books do not strain our eyes if we read them. Even in future, paper will be used to store information. Although its use has declined due to increase in use of computers everywhere, information on paper is 100% safe and secure. All certificates are given on paper. Paper is the biggest proof against any criminal. Paper can be used anywhere with great ease.
