the debate on whether plastic is noon or name is evergoing since the plastic was invented. it is a cheap, strong and reliable material for packaging. but it is not at all environment friendly . plastic comes in varying thickness in sense of microns but all plastics are non-biodegradables unlike wood, paper means once descarded they will remain intact for 100 of years. plastic buried in sand prevents seepage of water in the ground due to which ground water level could not recharge during rainy season. many times it blocks the drainage system wreaking havoc to sanitary system of the city. it's indigestion by cattles like cows, buffaloes has caused their death as plastic is stuck in their stomach. burning of plastic results in the release of toxic gases Extremely harmful to humans. so conventional way of burning the garbage for their disposal is not feasible either. the only way to get rid of plastic is using as land fill but it has serious repurcussion on the ground. the other method is to recycle plastic but as plastic available are not of any specific standard meaning the wrapper of mobile phone covers is different from mobile case plastic even though both are plastic so it's difficult to find a common way to recycle all of them
