Answer:

Prevention is better than cure during covid 19

This is an age-old saying which each one of us has learnt right from their school days. I am a doctor. During our building–up the process we are taught everything about a disease, how it originates, progresses and evolves, how to diagnose and treat it, which are the most important aspects of our curriculum.  In the end, there is a small paragraph about the prevention of disease.  I realize the importance of this prevention part know when the entire world is fighting Covid- 19 pandemic and India is trying to contain the disease by preventive measures.

In the West, health and research sector is one of the major driving force for the economy. If we talk about oncology, the rampant research has introduced a huge portfolio of diagnostic tests ripping deep into the genetics of the disease process and developing analogous medicines. They are feeders for each other, boosting each other’s assets. In the present situation, this applies to Covid -19 pandemic too.  First, the bugs are introduced to the world, then researches and trials for diagnostic tools, cure and vaccines trail and they all sell. All these form a vicious circle with Western ideology supporting the dynamics of their economy.

The big question is could all this be prevented, by taking more relevant proactive measures at an appropriate time striking a balance between expenditure and expenses and moving the economy by this off-roader route.  All this is definitely going to save you a lot of dough,   remember  ‘Money saved is money earned’. India is setting an example by stressing on preventive measures, reducing the load of sickness which would otherwise have been a glutton consuming all health care facilities like medicines, PPE’s, ventilators, manpower, sterilizing equipment, chemicals, insurances money, etc etc. Health is the wealth you see.  You don’t travel, you don’t spend,  you don’t buy expensive clothes, watches and accessories, no eating out, no party.
