Planet Earth is the only place where life is found. The Earth is able to sustain life because of the natural resources such as sunlight, air, water and vegetation that are available on the planet.

Air Pollution is a Source of Environmental Destruction

Many of man’s activities have led to the destruction of the ecological balance and equilibrium on Earth. The air has been polluted through smoke from vehicular traffic, industries, and burning of toxic matter. As more and more vehicles ply on the roads, and industries emit smoke and fumes, the air has got more and more polluted. This has led to an accumulation of greenhouse gases, and warming of the atmosphere. Global warming has led to the dangerous phenomenon of climate change.

Water Pollution and Deforestation Degrade the Earth

Similarly, land has been polluted by dumping garbage from homes, and wastes from industries in landfills. When it rains toxic compounds from the landfills get leached into the soil, polluting the soil.

Likewise, the water bodies on the planet have been polluted by dumping garbage and wastes of all types into it. Plastic has contributed to pollution of land and water. Biological wastes and electronic wastes are also contributing to pollution of water and land.

Deforestation is another major issue that has contributed to environmental damage. When forests are cleared, the land that thus becomes available is used for building residential and industrial areas. By losing forest cover, we lose the ecological advantages that forests give us. Forests help in binding the soil, and in maintaining the hydrological cycle. They also help in maintaining the cyclical patterns of the monsoons. We also create imbalance in the food chain by clearing forest areas.

The Earth must be Saved for our Own Survival

By destroying the Earth and its natural resources, not only {are} ecological imbalance and environmental destruction caused, our very survival gets threatened. We need to save the earth for our survival. All life forms are of importance in ecological equilibrium. By destroying habitats such as forests and grasslands, and by polluting water bodies, we pose a threat to the life of man and all life forms. It is therefore important that we save Planet earth which is home to all life forms.

We all know that we need oxygen to survive .But from where this oxygen comes? And the answer is PLANTS.
Plants not only give us oxygen to breathe but also absorb carbon dioxide which could be a harmful gas as it trap heat and nowadays it is causing global warming .Some people take it seriously but not all the people take it seriously , these some people are cutting and cutting trees at a great and increasing rate . We know that our growing population need some area to live and also furnitures and to level the demands we are cutting trees as we don't have any other option but we can't stop cutting trees but surely we can reduce the rate of cutting and also stop over exploitation of trees and forests. Also if we are cutting trees then at any other area we can also grow it and make a new forest. But we aren't doing the same we are just cutting we even don't know the meaning of growing plant , and the results are infront of us Global warming , acid rain etc. Are caused due to cutting of trees . Soil is also becoming more and more infertile due to cutting of trees . This problem is increasing at a rapid rate and now we have to stop deforestation and start afforestation.

Save plant , save earth
