Water is the precious gift of God on the Earth. Life us possible on the Earth because of the water. It is colorless, odourless and also tasteless. It adds nice taste, smell and colour in the human life. It is also known as life for human beings. It takes nothing to human but give life. It takes shape on which it stores. We observe it everywhere, in tanks, rivers sea, oceans etc. Three-fourth part of Earth is covered by the water. But the clean water is very less or least on the Earth which is drinkable for human.
Now, Importance of water.
Without water no body can survive on the Earth. Neither human beings nor animals and plants. Water is only source for life. We need water in all the walks of life from morning till night like drinking, cooking, bathing, washing clothes etc. Peoples work in different fields need water such as farmers working in fields need water to irrigate, industrialist for industry work. Peoples are suffering from water scarcity or completely lack of water in their regions.
Now, How can we save water? or Save water.
We should understand the importance of water in our life and stop misusing it with the proper management of usage of water. We should also protect clean water from being dirty due to the soil or water pollution. We should not waste it into toilet and store rain water for this process.

Three-fourth of Earth's surface is covered by water bodies. 97 per cent of this water is present in oceans as salt water and is unfit for human consumption. Fresh water accounts for only about 2.7 per cent. Nearly 70 per cent of this occurs as ice sheets and glaciers n Antarctica and other inaccessible places. Only one per cent of fresh water is available and fit for human use. So it is very important to conserve this precious resource. Increasing population and rapid urbanisation has led to over-use of water resources leading to water pollution and scarcity.
