Water is the source of life on this planet and a tiny amount, less than 1% water is available to about 7 billion people and a multitude of freshwater ecosystems. That is miniscule amount we have to use to cover all our needs, irrigation, industry, water and sanitation and the needs of thousands, if not millions, of other species with which we share the planet. The average American life style requires about 6,800 liters per day and 70% of that amount is intended to support our food. If each of us learned to retain only a little more water, we could get big savings. Freshwater companion National Geographic, Sandra Postel, think we should start with these simple changes: Choose a suitable outdoor garden to your climate. Native plants and grass that thrive only thanks to rainwater are the best. Install shower heads and low flow aerators for taps. By saving hot water, it will also reduce your electric bill. If you are looking for a toilet, buy a low-volume, ultra low volume or dual flush. Fix leaky faucets. All those wasted drops can reach the 37-95 liters of water a day. Only operate the dishwasher and washing machine when full. When it's time to replace them, buy a model that is efficient in terms of consumption of water and energy. Remember that saving water, saving energy and saving energy, saves water. Eat a little less meat, especially beef. Making a regular burger may require about 2,300 liters. Buy less stuff. Making all things wastes water. So if we buy less, we reduce our water consumption. Recycle plastic, glass, metals and paper. Buy reusable products instead of throwaway products, as the production of almost all require water. Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth and wash the dishes. Cut in a minute or two the time spent in the shower. Even the smallest things can make a difference if millions of people do. Find the source of drinking water, river, lake or aquifer that supplies home. Once you know, is concerned by it. You do not want to waste water.

We know that we need air, food and water for our survival but these all are being exploited by the human activities but among these three most important need we will talk about water.

We all know that we need water for our survival on this blue planet ws need it for our daily work and we use it but in an inappropriate way as we think that water is endless. When we talk to onewho waste water they say that water is 3/4 on this earth.Well this fact is quite right but not all of us knew that of is 70% water only a little volume of water is drinkable and most is salty water which we can't drink. And some are of glacier so only a liitle amount of water is left for drinking.
One major factor is increasing of pollutants in water bodies like rivers and lake. Many people especially from rural areas wash their cloth in river their cattles also take a bath in river water and now these all factor are becoming bane for the water bodies. Increasing in industries also increase industrial waste which are bring dispersed in water bodies which again cause water pollution.

So,we have stand and spread awareness about the impact of waterpollution.

SAVE WATER, SAVE LIFE.
