God has made all things bright and beautiful girls included. Girls are an integral part of life. Imagine the world without girls! No God-like mothers at homes! No caring sisters to share our sorrows and double our joys! No wives for man forcing him to live a bachelor’s life eternally with all the responsibilities of household chores on him! The truth is man’s life would be eternally monotonous and monochromatic without girls. The practical and scientific fact is man’s existence is impossible without GIRLS.
Now the question arises: ‘When GIRLS are so important for life why are they being subjected to female-foeticide, molestation, gender-discrimination and bias? The answer will shock you! This injustice against the girls is nothing but atrocities of male chauvinistic society bringing forth its backwardness and ignorance. How savagely and outrageously shocking is this ill-treatment of the fair sex! In some of the states of India such as Punjab and Haryana this heinous crime against the GIRL child has gone beyond limits. The average sex ratio in India is 933. Haryana is the state with lowest sex ratio of 861.
Though the Indian Government has passed many laws to safeguard GIRL children, yet the crimes against them have not ended completely. Though there is a sea change in people’s attitude towards GIRL children, still the Government along with people and NGOs need to do more in promoting GIRL children’s interest and causes. The Government must not hesitate in passing and implementing more stringent laws to save GIRL children. And the people must take more proactive part in safeguarding this pillar of love, affection, and creation.

Save and protect girl child

It is said that "Educating a girl means educating the entire family." Every child has the right to education. It is one of our fundamental rights.
But there are many people in our country who don't understand the importance of girl's education. We should not forget that we come to this world only because of a woman. She is the avtar of God. Only a woman can do this sacrifice.
One should understand the importance of a girl in a home. Many people kill the girls in the womb of a woman.
Think of what would happen if there will be no women. Who will take care of us like a mother ? Who will tie Rakhi on brother's hand ? Who will connect the whole world ?
Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji has said "That country and that nation will never become great who doesn't respect women nor even now and not not even in future."
How anyone can forget the love given by our mother , the sacrifices which she had done for us ?
Today we are living in democratic country. Is really our country is working in democratic way ? No.
Today also there are many women who hadn't given rights their rights to live in their own way.
Every man want to have a beautiful wife but they don't want to save girls. How can anyone forget that a girl leave her family , change her surname after marriage ? And people are killing girls.
Shame on that people who are not giving respect to women.
Only because of this reason too our country is not developed.
We should save and protect girl child. It is the responsibility of every citizens. Girl's are the gift of God. They are the future of our nation.
