There's some truth in that.

Thanks to technology we get ready-made well researched answers for anything we are curious about. So the theory part is sorted. The uncertainty of an idea vanishes as it has been done before.

The speed of replication has increased. acquiring know-how is a child's game.

Curiosity gets satisfied too quickly. It loses its impetus midway, now comes the 'doing' part.

It seems only a bunch of people are doing and sharing. While the majority of humanity are waiting to be spoon fed. I guess that's how it has always been. A handful create the content for the world to chew on.

Yes this thing is surely killing human imagination. What is the need? when you can get real live footage of any darn fantasy one can imagine? See if it's plausible or doable, rejected before it even hits the drafting table or the note pad.

Its still alive amongst the not so privileged . also. I still see kids pretend playing and splashing about in a mud puddle which is an ocean in their heads. It's sacred space. Protect it.
