Undoubtedly, India is one of the most favorite tourist destinations among foreigners. India is a mini-world in itself. It has everything in it. Tall, rugged mountains in the north and north east; sparkling and clear oceans in the south; and beautiful desert in the west. No other country has such diversity of climate, physical features, peoples, ethnicities, religions, languages, cultures, etc. Nearly every region in our vast and varied land has breathtaking natural beauty and enchanting flora and fauna. Tigers and Dolphins, Elephants and Pheasants, majestic Deodar and Orchids all are part of the enchantment of this land. Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh where scenic beauty is as magnificent as Switzerland; Kaziranga, the wild life sanctuary in Assam, is home of the rare one horned rhino. Arunachal Pradesh had monasteries like Tawang as impressive as Ladakh and like Sikkim which could boast of Pemyengtse and Tashiding attracted a lot of tourists interested in Buddhism.

Each state and region has its own uniqueness. Foreign and local tourists love this diversity of colour, food, culture, climate, etc. Song and dance and colourful festivals and dazzling handicrafts too cast their spell on tourists both domestic and foreign. Exotic beaches of Goa, backwaters of Kerala, snow-clad mountains of Himachal, sands and lakes of Rajasthan, world heritage sites of Delhi, etc. are the symbols of diversity of our nation.

Apart from the variety of geographical features, India has a wonderful and affordable facilities for tourists. From world class hotels to economical guest houses, very affordable food and transportation facilities make India highly attractive for foreign tourists.  

Every year a huge number of foreign tourists explore India and return to their countries with body, mind and soul rejuvenated.

Darjeeling and Shillong are among the oldest hill stations in India.</p><p>In the west, the Gir Sanctuary in Gujarat, houses lions, the king of the forest. Temples</p><p>at Somnath and Dwarka attract tourists in hordes. The deserts and palaces of Rajasthan</p><p>add breathtaking colour and variety to a nation that prides itself in being united in</p><p>diversity. Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu &amp; Kashmir are shining pearls of northern</p><p>India. Agra is the go-to place for the mesmerising beauty of Taj Mahal. A lot of</p><p>beautiful architectural buildings, tombs, mosques and monuments dot Delhi and its</p><p>surroundings. The south Indian state of Kerala is truly God's own country, with the</p><p>beautiful backwaters and its splendorous greenery.
