Today the people of our society are becoming selfish and what about our youths, you can find them busy either with their smart phones or with friends. But there is a great need for the development of emotions and moral values among them and i think this is only available with the teachings of ancient people. If you won't believe, keep yourself busy in listening or reading the teachings of Buddha and Mahavira for atleast 15 mins and analyse it within your mind.I challenge that you will surely find it influencing because it touches your mind and heart and for this i feel that today there is a need to follow the teachings of Buddha and Mahavira.
