Unemployment - a serious issue
Unemployment refers to when a person does not have a job even when willing to work. It can be classified into seasonal and disguised unemployment. Whatever type of Unemployment it might be, it effects the status of a family and the economic condition of a country. In India, unemployment is one of the major problems faced by us.
With a population of more than a billion, unemployment is a common sight in India. Due to the changing demand of work, age and experience, unemployment has turned popular in India. Though, information technology has brought up many opportunities, many of them are still unemployed. Certain measures can decrease unemployment.
Steps to decrease unemployment:
>> Proper education of a child: The government had taken this into consideration and made a role that 'no child under 14 years of age will be uneducated.' When a child is educated enough, new chances and opportunity knock by their own!
>> Health must be maintained properly: When a person is healthy and fit, obviously he/she will get more opportunities of getting a job rather than a person who is handicapped or suffering from diseases like Asthama ( Asthama is taken just for an example)
>> Gender equality: If the girl child is given the same education and health facilities, than more sectors of job opportunities will be set up. The government has introduced many schemes such as beti bachao, beti padao, where the main initiative is to save as educate a girl child.
We cannot Blame completely on the government for the reason of unemployment. The attitude of many people should change, especially those in rural areas.
