Article on youth and passion

I believe as a teenager, we are always being put down for not doing enough for society and thinking of only ourselves. But I think adults have it all wrong, we are a generation filled with passion, bright ideas and courage.
Us teenagers, think we’re all going to be that one person who does something amazing with their life and everyone talks about because of that. But can we all? No. As much as I’d love to think I’d be part of a generation where everyone has achieved their lifelong dream I know this isn’t going to happen, but the fact that we all have a dream and the passion behind some of our dreams is so strong makes us all want it even more. Maybe that’s the reason so many teens have achieved amazing things in their lives already, because we think we can take over the world and that nothing can stop us.
You don’t need to look too far to find some inspirational teenager doing something great for humanity or the environment. While not all teenagers do such things, many sit on their backside all day long and wait for the world to change, others are making sure that we don’t end up like future generations, fighting over why the country is in such a mess instead of doing something about it.
People say that teenagers see the world as black and white, right and wrong. While adults have a more vague idea of right and wrong as they get older. Maybe the fact that we don’t have as much life experience is a good thing. We are unaware of outside dangers that teachers can’t teach in school. Because of this we aren’t as realist as adults we think anything is possible and we can achieve anything in life.
