Answer:

Trees are of great importance. They give us water to drink, air to breathe, fruits and vegetables and shade to us humans. Trees take in carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and through photosynthesis, they convert it into oxygen which humans breathe. They act as habitats for various species of fauna and flora. Trees also provide us with various materials which can be used for building homes. Trees help in bringing rain in an indirect way through the process called transpiration. Trees leave the extra water through the stomata on the leaf surfaces. The water evaporates into the air and adds to the moisture of the air. So the air gets saturated faster and brings rain. This is why trees are of immense value to humanity.
