I study in Cambridge School which is one of the best schools of Mumbai. It has a stone building. It has all the facilities a good school should have — well-furnished classrooms, laboratories, library and playgrounds.

As we enter the school, there is a playground to our left and a small garden to our right. When we enter the building, the Principal’s room and the office room are to the left and the staff room to the right side. These are well-furnished. There are thirty-four classrooms. Our laboratories are well-equipped. Our library has books on almost all the subjects. Our librarian is also very nice and helps us choose good books.

Our school, like all schools, has a prescribed uniform. We have to wear white or cream cotton shirts, light- blue trousers, black shoes and white socks. Girls have to wear white blouses and light-blue skirts in primary and middle classes and white shirts and light-grey skirts in higher classes. They have to tie their long hair with white ribbons.

In our school special attention is paid to behavior, cleanliness and punctuality. The most well-behaved, neat and punctual student is awarded a prize at the Annual Day function. Our Principal is a strict disciplinarian. He takes the help of P.T. teachers too. If any student violates the rules, is not in uniform, or makes mischief, gets punished. But he is fair and loving. He tries to find out the reason and guides us. Our teachers are also quite strict. They teach us with great care, check our notebooks and help us with our problems. But if we are inattentive and don’t work properly, we are punished.

I like my school very much and am proud that I belong to it.

My school name is the State Co-operative Secondary School, Kirti Nagar. This is an ideal school. Here education is an excellent arrangement of sports and other penalties. The atmosphere here is calm and pleasant. In my school, there is a studying from the sixth to the tenth grade. There are two or three sections in each class. The school building is duplicate. There are about fifty rooms in it. All rooms in the classroom are furnished and airy with furniture, fans etc. Principal's room is specially decorated. Apart from this, staff room library room, hall, computer room laboratory room etc. are also equipped with all types of excellent arrangements. There is also proper arrangement of drinking water and toilets in the school. About two and a half thousand students in my school read. Teacher: The number of teachers is fifty. There are also ten other staffs. These three clerks are a gardener and five peons. There is a concierge who makes a night watch in school. During my education, my school places a leading place in the city. Often all students are well off the good points. Teachers give full account of the progress of the students. Most teacher scholars are experienced and qualified. Our Principals are cultured and disciplined. Under his leadership, the school is progressing day and night and quadruple. They appear to be committed to the all-round development of the school. Students are very respectful of the Principal


Nowadays the importance of technical education has increased. In my school there is full emphasis on teaching computer as a technical education. The applications of science in the laboratory are told. In our school, full attention is given on sports. Game trainers give us proper training to play games like cricket, football, hockey, badminton, lost-kho, kabaddi etc. Last year my school was at the first place in the college hockey competition.There is a good library in my school. Students from the library can take textbooks to read. Here is a good collection of books related to the textbooks, poems and books related to knowledge science.


There are many tree plants in the courtyard of my school. The trees and flower plants in the queue produce beautiful natural scenes. Gardener takes regular care of the plants. We have been told in schools that how trees and plants are important to us. That's why we take care of them.We have the opportunity to participate in cultural programs in addition to studying and sports in the school. Students participate in cultural programs on various occasions, such as Children's Day, Republic Day, Independence Day, Teacher's Day, Anniversary of Gandhi Jayanti Vidyalaya. It develops qualities like honesty, patience and mutual cooperation in us. Everything in my school is systematic, disciplined, collaborative and entertaining. I feel proud of my school.
