However, the celestial bodies that we see from our naked eye are just a small fraction of the bodies that exist in the universe. There are many theories that suggest the origin or birth of the universe. The big bang theory postulates taht there took place an explosion and the universe came into being while the Steady State theory assumes the expansion of universe through a continuous process.
