Answer:

Solutions :-

We know,

1 Dozen = 12 units

1 score = 20 units

Given :

Cost Price of 12 articles = Rs 45

Cost Price of 1 article = Rs 45/12 = Rs 3.75

Selling price of 20 articles = Rs 85

Selling price of 1 article = Rs 85/20 = Rs 4.25

Here,

Selling price is greater than the cost price. therefore, Gain .

Gain = S.P - C.P

= Rs (4.25 - 3.75)

= Rs 0.5

Gain % = (gain × 100)/C.P %

= (0.5 × 100)/3.75 %

= 50/3.75 %

= 13.33 % approx.

Hence,

The gain percent is 13.33%

loss%= loss*100/cp

= 800/17

= 47.05
