C.P. of articles = rs 45

S.P. of articles = rs 85

S.P. > C.P.

= Profit

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

= 85 - 45

= 40

Gain percent = profit / C.P. × 100

= 40 / 45 × 100

= ? (ans)
