The social sciences work should be used to educate policymakers/legislatures so that policies can be  guided by facts and knowledge instead of anecdotes or hollow rhetoric

It is a discipline which synthesizes political, economic, family, religious and other relations in order to gain full knowledge of human social life.  Public administration is responsible for handling administrative matters of men in society and for meeting the common needs, such as life protection, health, education, etc. public administration
  • In responding to people's needs, administrators should be aware of the administrative social objectives. Hence in recent times, Public administration is closely connected with sociology in recent times.
  • Public government serves as a tool for social change, particularly in Asian and African developing countries. The governments of these countries are trying through public administration to bring about the necessary improvements in civil ties in an inclusive society. Experts claim that public administration alone knows the social climate in developed countries.
  • It is known that Sociology has a great deal of impact on public policy through the perspectives from different sociologists. The famous German sociologist Max Weber made the most important contribution to bureaucracy theory. • Another position that sociology plays in public administration is to recognize social issues and demographic patterns, which are not be "on the radar."
