pottery making had reached an advanced staage. the pottry of this culture was wheel made and adorned with a variety of natural ,geomatric and non geomatric motifs.numerous seals have been found from harrpan sites. most of them are made of terecotta and are square or rectangular in shape.the seals usually have a short inscription accompanied by a religious character or some animal like tiger ,goat or elephant.
harappans also exelled in making statuettes in stone.a large number of terrecota animal and human figurines have been found from all over indus valley.they also make terecotta toy carts, rattels,whistels in the form of birds,dice and cakes.harappans were also aware of metals including copper,bronze,gold and silver.copper and bronze were mainly used to make tools,weapons,vessles and ornaments.however,gold and silver were jused to make ornaments and vessels only.
clay spindles found during excavations indicate that yarn was spun.people wore clothes that were made of cotton and wool.the discovery of needles and buttons suggests that prople stitched clothes.
