★ Then, Discount,

= discount% of M.P
= 20% × x
= 20/100 × x
= 1/5 × x
= x/5




★ And, selling price (S.P),

= M.P - discount

=>>> 4x/5 = 1800

=> x = 1800 × 5/4

=> x = 9000/4
