\textbf{\huge{ANSWER:}}

Given:

Cost Price ( C.P. ) of toffee = Rs. 1

Profit % = 20%

Let the Profit in Rupees be = x

The formula for calculating the Profit % :

Profit = \frac{Profit \: (in \: rupees)}{C.P.} \times 100 \\

Put the required values in the formula:

20 = \frac{x}{1} \times 100 \\ \\ = > x = 2

Now, the Profit = Rs. 2

Formula for Selling Price (S.P.) when the Profit is given:

S.P. = C.P. + Profit

=》 S.P. = 1 + 2

=》 \textbf{S.P. = Rs. 3}

\textbf{(B) 3 is the answer}
