Earnings of Arun = Rs 90 for 7 hrs
Earnings of Arun in 1 hr = 90/7
Earnings of Varun = Rs 120 for 11 hrs
Earnings of Varun in 1 hr = 120/11

Ratio of earnings = Earning of Arun in 1 hr : Earning of Varun in 1 hr
Ratio = 90/7 : 120/11
Ratio = 3/7 : 4/11

Ratio = 33 : 28

Therefore, the ratio of their earnings is 33:28

We need to find the rate of of their work done to find ratio of the earnings
So,
to find the rate of work done, we need to compare in equal work hours
Now, according to the question,
Arun  earns 90 rupees in 7 hours
So, he will earn 90/7 rupees in 1 hour

Varun  earns 120 rupees in 11 hours
So, he will earn  120/11 rupees in 1 hour

So, the ratio of the work done will be
=(90 / 7) / (120 / 11)
=(90 × 11) / (120 × 7)
= 990/840
=33/28

So, the ratio of their earnings will be 33/28
