Explanation:

In February 2016, Finance minister Arun Jaitley launched a portal to electronically collect over ₹ 2 trillion annually in non-tax receipts which was developed by Controller General of Accounts.

This (portal) has its own advantages and it reduced a lot of manual work.

NTRP provides a one-stop step to citizens or other users to make online payment of non-tax receipts to the Union government and helped them  from the hassle of visiting bank premises for issue of drafts, and later to government offices to deposit it.
